Attitude at Altitude: Flying high to ground MS
![]() |
From the article: "Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is a condition in which Myelin, a sort of insulation covering nerve fibers, is attacked and deteriorated. It would normally prevent the nerve impulses or signals from being short circuited or lost on their way to the brain. Many people would present different symptoms, like extreme fatigue, loss of primary motor skills making walking difficult and painful, or as I have recently learned, "like being touched all over with red hot pokers". And there are more, like blindness. Frustrating, maddening, depressing, hopeless, name it. Right now, hundreds of thousands of Canadians and Americans are afflicted. This is a story about one of our own, and how she uses determination and a positive attitude, (not always easy to come by) to fight this unfair condition."
